Microsoft Outlook Error pop up Error tag: 657rx (something went wrong [1200])

I've tried all the common solutions.

Delete all accounts. Repair, Remove, Fix. all of the options short of uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook.

Here is the major issue. We have email through godaddy. We purchase MS Office directly through Microsoft. When I try to use my email within outlook, it thinks that this email (that is issued from godaddy) is a Microsoft admin account. (it is NOT).

So I delete the email out, and retry using the Microsoft admin account information....and it won't log in (there is NO EMAIL account associated with the controller account).

I open excel, and it's using the correct account to log in, and says it's logged into the account, but has a "caution" icon next to the username at the top.

I am a fairly advanced Windows user, and I've been struggling with this (I also contacted Microsoft....and they are absolutely useless, as they pass the blame to godaddy) this is not a go daddy issue, it's a microsoft issue. Anyone please help?

I had the same error, I went to SETTINGS > ACCOUNTS > ACCESS WORK OR SCHOOL
Then removed any account that was in there by hitting DISCONNECT.

After that lauch Excel or any Office app and sign in. It worked for me, hope it does for you.

Good luck!

Control Panel (View by large icons) > Mail Applet (Outlook) > In the resulting window > Email Accounts > Email Tab > New > add this mail account, only the email address & its password is required to add/verify

Once done exit the applet and start OL

In any O365 component > Help > Contact support
