Make active flags always visible

Hi,

I had the same question as here: Make active flags always visible

What I noticed, is that some mail folders had a flag column, and others not. However, the column couldn't be added to those folders that missed the flag status. And if I hovered over a mail in such a folder, that status appeared in the categories column, next to the category.

What I did, was copying a folder with a flag column, rename this copy and move the items from the folder that missed the flag status to that new folder.

How can I share my workaround with Suzi S from the originating question?
