    Hello! js52_542

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community

It seems to me that your email account has been compromised. Just to set your expectations that Microsoft accounts are managed by an automated server in which we do not have any manual access to this, and we have limited tools for checking your account and subscription details in Community.

    Allow me to ask:

    • I would like to know what @domain and who is hosting your email account? example for @domains: Gmail.com, Yahoo.com, Outlook.com/Hotmail.com
      • May I know if the account is for Work/School use? or Personal (Hotmail/Outlook.com) use?
    • May I know how do you access your emails? is it through Outlook.com (web)? Outlook application (included in Microsoft 365 subscription)? New Outlook for Windows? Classic Outlook for Windows (Windows Mail app)? Outlook application for mobiles?
      • What version and edition of Office do you have installed in your device? Example: Personal/Family/Enterprise?
        • You can open any Office apps
        • Go to File > Accounts - on the right side you can see Product Information
    • Can you still sign in with your account?
    • Are there any changes in your security information in your account? Such as Phone number and email address?

To resolve this issue, I recommend that you take the following steps:

    1. Change your email account password immediately. Make sure to choose a strong and unique password that you haven't used before.
    2. Enable two-factor authentication for your email account. This will add an extra layer of security to your account and help prevent unauthorized access.
    3. Check your email account settings to ensure that no forwarding rules or filters have been set up without your knowledge.
    4. Run a full scan of your computer using your McAfee antivirus software to check for any malware or viruses that may be causing the issue.
    5. If the issue persists, contact your email service provider for further assistance.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Thank you,
