password reset issue

Question

microsoft ask me to reset a password, that is ok, but it is always says the new password need to be different with old passwords!!!! i have changed 30 passwords, none of them are accepted. please just give me a password that i can use.

I am a Microsoft user just like you, hope you are well.

Sorry for the inconvenience. However, I understand the frustration of having to always create a new password, this can be daunting.

Regardless, Microsoft no longer supports using previous passwords for security reasons as the previous password maybe compromised.

Understand that Microsoft takes users account security very seriously, also, if you are prompted to change your password, it is not optional.
