I need to give user permission to create new file without modify the old one

    Hi @Mohamed Kandil ,

    You'll need to give your user Write permissions to the folder to be able to create new files.

    Example:

    111813-advanced-permissions.png

    With the permissions shown in the screenshots above the user can create new files (not folders), but cannot modify the files/folders.

    Hi,
    Based on my test, if you want to give user permissions to create files in the folder, but can't modify the old ones, we can assign permission as following:

    Or assign the read and write permission to: this folder only
    You can't apply the read and write permission to: This folder, subfolders and files, or users will be able to modify the old files or subfolders.
