    Hi Casper,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

I apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing while trying to access your account.

I really understand the urgency to get your account back. I would like to inform you at the beginning that Microsoft account recovery is managed by a completely automated server, and we do not have manual access to it. Microsoft takes the security and privacy of our customers very seriously. We are committed to protecting your personal information, and the meticulous account recovery process is intended to protect you from any potential malicious activity.

For now, allow me to do the best I can to help you with the process. Let's solve this problem together. Here are some steps you can take:

    1. Use different browser/device/network:
    • Try using different browsers, such as Edge, Google, or Mozilla. If none of these work, try accessing the browser in private mode or incognito mode.
    • In your browser (the one you used to log in to) try to reset, clear cache and cookies.
    • Restart your system and try to log in to your account again.
    • Sign in to your account using another device, such as a phone or another desktop/laptop.
    • Log in to your account on different devices using another network/internet connection, you may well try using mobile data.
    1. Use account recovery form:
    1. Reference link to double check the validity of account:

You can also try contacting support in the Outlook app. if the account you are trying to work with is the Microsoft accounts.

Since you mentioned that you were hacked a year ago, we wanted to make sure that you've tried to access it within a year. If the account was not signed  on a browser within 365 days. The account will be deleted permanently in the system due to inactivity. You may recreate the account as a new account if it is still available. In-line to your concern, you may access this link as a reference of when will it be the account closed or deleted.

Please don't give up just yet! Let's keep our hopes up!
