Hi, I have a user who acts as a delegate for her managers calendar, when creating meetings and not sent yet, the manager is receiving a notification when the meeting is in draft form on Outlook, how do I stop the manager from receiving notifications about meetings in draft format, as this can be confusing for the manager, it shows up like she has a meeting.

    Hello Dawn Sanders1,

    Thank you for your reply,

It will be very difficult to specify the type of notification the manager should get since in outlook there is not such us feature, however kindly share your outlook version , i will try to see if i can use inbox rule and get back to you. Share your outlook version as below picture

Hi, that's understandable the delegate receives a copy of meeting request etc everything but the manager doesn't want to be notified about draft meetings the delegate creates, as it is confusing to the manager and shows up as a notification / like she has a meeting. We are on Outlook version 2403

    Hello Dawn Sanders1,

By default, delegates are set to receive copies of meeting-related messages such as meeting requests and responses. It will take your manager only a few seconds to change it so that you won’t receive these anymore.

However, kindly give me your Outlook version and I will reproduce the issue using the rule setting to check if it is possible to use the inbox rule.

We look forward to your reply. This requested information will help us narrow down the scenario and find the right troubleshooting. We will continue to assist you based on the information you provide. I sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation.   SincerelyEben Ezer Tres | Microsoft Community Moderator
