I have the same message. However, I, too, have plenty of storage, and it won't let me even select or permanently delete anything. I read some forums that could be related to IMAP or a Google account coming into Outlook. Any other solutions to fix this problem?

    Dear PCorrie Racz-Shutti,

Hope you are doing well and I am glad to assist you here.

As per your description, it seems the mailbox is getting full but as mentioned it is currently using 18GB, may I know how/where you tell the used storage? Could you please attach a screenshot?

If you are using Microsoft 365 mailbox service, it is better to contact your admin to check your mailbox storage from the admin center to confirm whether it is getting full.

From your side, you can try below quick solutions:

If your admin confirms your mailbox is getting full (over 80%), please clean up some of your emails from the Junk folder, Delete Items, etc.

Thank you for your time, please feel free to get back to us if you have further concerns.

    Regards,
