Deleted emails

My ex has gained access to my email by guessing my password (now changed) & has deleted an important email relating to our ongoing divorce. She will have deleted it from the deleted items folder as well so I can’t recover it. Is there any way this can be recovered? I have no idea if or how I should report this incident.

    Hello Tom_207,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. My name is Eunice and I am happy to assist you today.

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue. Please know that once an email message is deleted from your mailbox, you can only recover it if you can find it in your Deleted Items folder or junk folder, and if you do not find the deleted mail you want to recove, they have probably been permanently removed from the Deleted Items folder or Junk Email folder and it cannot be recovered. What you can do is contact the sender to resend the email to you.

Let me know if you need more help.
