Outlook.com question: A phishing email pretending to be from Lowes.com keeps appearing in my Inbox, even though I reported the phishing email countless times. Why is my report not working?

it should be identified as spam by the filter and moved into the junk email folder - but its not uncommon for the filter to fail when mail traffic is heavy. But I will pass the information along - I need to complain about other issues with the junk filter and will add this to it.

Hi Diane. I will create a rule to delete the offending messages, as you suggested.
However IMO it is preferable that Microsoft would investigate the report and block the spammer, because there are most likely others receiving this, and we don't want them to get scammed.
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Maury911

I'm Diane and I'm happy to help you today.

Is it the same message or a new copy of the identical message? If the received time is different, they are new messages.

Rather than reporting it, I would just delete it, especially if you already reported it. If the messages are identical and you are receiving them frequently, you can create a rule to delete them.

Let me know how it goes, I'm here to help you further if needed.
