How to decrease unsuccessful log in attempts.

I have had over 300 unsuccessful log ins so far this month (12 days!). They are never able to get in to my account. I don't get notification of these log ins but see them when I review attempted log ins. I have 2 factor authentication on and a strong password. Is there any way to decrease the number of attempts?

Hello OA34! I'm Gunasekar and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

I'm sorry to hear that someone has made multiple attempts to sign in to your account. However, I'm glad to know that your account is still secure since two-factor authentication is enabled.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) does not completely prevent sign-in attempts, but it makes it much more difficult for potential intruders to gain access to your account. Two-Step Verification is a more secure way to use your accounts, as passwords can be forgotten, stolen or compromised. Two-Step Verification adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second step, such as using your phone, to make it harder for other people to break into your account.

If you are constantly getting unsuccessful sign-in attempts, I suggest these things:

    1. It's important to change your password regularly to keep your account secure. You can use a password manager service to help you keep track of your passwords and change them at least once a week. Many password manager services are available for free.
    2. Download and install all the latest updates for your Windows.
    3. Keep your devices safe.
