Lost Folder

On the old outlook website there used to be a folder that was accessed by clicking on your own name. It was the only folder above your inbox. This folder could only be accessed on the outlook website and not the app. Ever since my organization switched to the new outlook, the entire contents of that folder has disappeared. My organization does not believe when I have informed them that I lost many important emails due to them being stored in that folder.

Has anyone else ran into this issue or am I the only one who used that folder as an option to store emails.

    Hello Hunter Adcock,

Good day and thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost your folder in the new Outlook for Windows. To clarify, were you using the Outlook desktop app or the web version of Outlook? If you were using the web version, I can't seem to locate the folder you're referring to. Only related folder above the inbox could be "Favorites" and even in this case, it's like a copy of the pinned folder and can still be accessed below.

In the meantime, please let me know if you can see any of the emails if you check in the Deleted Items folder.

->You can also click on the "Recover deleted items" option at the top of this folder page to check this as well.

->If you remember any of the keywords for any email or the sender, you can do an outlook search to see if there will be any result. This will in turn display the location of the email.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best Regards,

    Ashraf.
