garbled emails

windows 10 outlook (what came on computer, not part of microsoft office)....some emails come in garbled, cant read them, no recognizable information.......

also still using windows live mail (2007 MS office), and having problems with that one too. this started about a week ago. the other...coming in on outlook, has been going on for awhile.

someone mentioned could be something like hypertext is the problem....dont know.

senior here, not real familiar anymore with lots of these programs, updates, etc. understand windows live mail is not receiving support anymore, should it come off totally?

regarding the outlook, what do I do?

    Hi, I'm Diane and I'm happy to help you today.

    Who is your email provider? If you check the account in web mail, are the messages messed up?

    I would stop using Live mail and Outlook 2007 - you can use Windows Mail or a 3rd party program such as eM client. It' a good replacement for Live mail and is free is you only have one or two accounts added to it.
