Outlook problems with Macbook

Question

Hello,

I have 2 issues with outlook when I started to use with MacBook.

• When I send emails, the other side receives my emails with very big fonts, size is enormously big, on some of the content on the email.
• after a certain time, I can't open the files that I received on the emails.

Hello,

I use microsoft Outlook for Mac version 16.80 ( 23121017)

Licence: Microsoft 365.

On most emails, the font size on some parts of my emails becomes much bigger than 72, I can't see the font size number as it doesn't show.

I don't use antivirus or security software that scans email.

Some parts of the text that I wrote becomes extremely big, not the complete text. I use Calibri.

I can see this once my friends replies by email and asking why I wrote some parts with extremely big fonts.

One of my friend had the same issue and he shifted to the old version that he uses on Mac, saying that new version is malfunctioning.

Besides, why I can't open any file after a certain time on my emails?

I searched both issues on internet and seems may people have same or similar problems. Maybe this is related with new version of outlook for Mac which can be malfunctioning.

Hi, I'm Diane and I'm happy to help you today.

Do all recipients receive messages with large fonts?

What font size are you using to compose mail? If larger than size 14, use size 14 and zoom in the compose window to make the text larger.

Are you using an antivirus or security software that scans email? One cause of large fonts (besides actually using large fonts) is an antispam / antivirus scanner that scans mail and corrupts the message.

What Outlook version are you using?

Did you get this issue in previous version of new Outlook for Mac or Legacy Outlook?
