Object, and event dropdown navigation not working

Question

Working in VB, I have the three dropdowns at the top of the code editor window, displaying the project, object, and event. Today I can't navigate, or create a new method, using the dropdowns. The dropdowns show which object / event my cursor is in, and change as I move my cursor through the file. If I click on a dropdown, I can see the whole list correctly, but no matter what item I click on in the list, the displayed method and event revert to wherever the cursor was. I have VS 16.10.2 running on Windows 10. I'd appreciate any help or advice.

Update it to 16.10.3 (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/releases/2019/release-notes#16.10.3). For example, use “Check for Updates” from HELP menu.
