Outlook Delivery Report Error

Due to the nature of the company I work for, we need to track every email sent by our clients and upload delivery reports for the corresponding emails within the company.

Recently, I've been having some issues with this feature. When I sent an email and opened the delivery report as usual, I received an error message when I used it to track outgoing mail.

This is the error message received:

  1. The operation could not be performed because "{MailboxGUID}" was not found.
  2. The specified mail identifier is invalid

Our company is using 2019 Outlook and although it is for company use, the account categories are all Hotmail or Outlook personal email accounts, I have tried rejoining the mailboxes as well as recreating the settings profile and cleaning up the mailbox rules, and going into Oultook Safe Mode but none of them are resolved.

Can anyone help me?

    Hello,

    If I understand correctly, you receive error messages when you open the delivery report.

    If that is the case, kindly read through this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/troubleshoot/message-body/specified-message-identity-is-invalid-error-when-opening-delivery-reports and try the resolutions shared by Microsoft to resolve the issue.
