Desktop folder in Drive E to be moved to Drive C

My destop folder is showing in drive E and not drive C. If I got to properties of desktop folder

in drive E, the change location feature is not there. How do I shift desktop folder in drive E to

drive C.

Also the folders in C drive are also showing on desktop screen and if I delete them the

same folder is deleted in drive C too.

Till day before there was no such problem.

The files of desktop folder which is on drive E show on desktop screen if I paste the in Drive C.

Also these files are only read only files.

Please solve the problem urgently

Please refer to this article to Restore Default Location of Your Personal Folders in Windows 10
    https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/23504-restore-default-location-personal-folders-windows-10-a.html

On the other hand, since this issue occurred recently, system restore is a good way to recover previous desktop folder state.

Finally, there is a registry way to change the location of desktop folder, note backup your registry before using this way:

Click your Start Button, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor
    Navigate to this Key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
On the right hand side, double click Desktop
    Set its value to: %USERPROFILE%\Desktop
Save and close the Registry Editor
    Restart your PC
The Desktop library folder will now be back in its original location
You may have to copy some files from your E Drive back into the Desktop folder
