Missing Mailboxes

I have a mailbox linked to my main email, and everything was working yesterday. When I open outlook today, it shows all my mailboxes, then after 30 seconds of thinking, it removes all mailboxes but 1. This occurs each time I reopen outlook. I need these for my work, and I do not have the password to the account but added it a different way. I do have permission to access that account. When I go to Accounts Setting, these mailboxes are not available. I have tried Add a New mailbox and however Outlook says the email address I am trying to add is invalid. This should not be the case. Please help.

    Hello KazKV,

Thank you for posting this case in the Microsoft Community!

Based on your description: Your mailboxes are missing in Outlook for Windows today. I would like to cooperate with you to work on this case. To clarify this case, please kindly help to collect the following information for further analysis:

    • What kind of mailbox is linked to your main account? If related to Shared mailbox,**normal Exchange online mailbox,**and so on?
    • How did you add this mailbox to Outlook without the password in a different way? Please share more detailed information with the captured screenshot and explain further.

For my suggestion, if this is related to Shared Mailbox, you may check the following workaround:

    1. For Shared Mailbox, you may try to sign in to Outlook Web and click open another mailbox Open and use a shared mailbox in Outlook on the web. This will help to identify if your Share Mailbox access permission is working fine or not.
    2. If working fine in Outlook on the web, it is suggested that you check this article Open and use a shared mailbox in Outlook. If not working, may try to re-create another Outlook profile Create an Outlook profile - Microsoft Support and check if the shared mailbox automatically showing in Outlook or not.

    3. Outlook works best when it's up to date. We recommend setting Windows Update to automatically download and install recommended updates. Bug fixes, new features, and performance enhancements are released regularly. To install the latest Windows and Office updates, see Install Office updates.

    1. Next you may run the SARA Tool to fix this case if possible. About the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant

    4. If this case persists, finally you may try to re-install the latest version of the Office 365 application and check if working or not.

Download and install or reinstall Microsoft 365 or Office 2021 on a PC or Mac - Microsoft Support

Should you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me. Look forward to hearing from you.

Your understanding and patience will be appreciated.

    Best Regards
