Problem with Microsoft Outlook - it doesn't open

Hello!

When I try to open the Microsoft Outlook app on my Mac, I get the following message: "There was a problem with Microsoft Outlook, and we apologize for the inconvenience." I think the problem occurred after the last update on December 13th....since then, I have had to go online to read my e-mail. I have done all the Mac software updates - what more can I do?

I tried to include the information from the error message below, but it had almost 240 000 characters and it can only be 6000, so here is the beginning for it:

I have the same issue, with Outlook 365. Error message also too long to paste in full. I had Office 2019 for Mac installed, and then obtained a license for 365 through my work. Only Outlook quits on startup, repeatedly, much like the above. Microsoft Error Reporting log version: 2.0. I cannot uninstall and reinstall as I simply updated my license in the program itself, not through the Mac App store. Fortunately, I can log into 365 online. If you could please advise, I'd be grateful.

1. Update the application. To update Microsoft Office on your Mac, you can use the Microsoft AutoUpdate tool. Here are the steps to follow: • Open an Office app such as Word. • Click on the Help menu and select Check for Updates. • If you don’t see Check for Updates, run the latest version of the Microsoft AutoUpdate tool, then check for updates again. • Select Automatically keep Microsoft apps up to date to receive the latest security fixes and feature improvements as soon as they become available, helping your Mac stay protected and up to date. • Click Update to download and install all the available updates.
2. Deleting the Login Keychain. • In the Keychain Access app on your Mac, if your keychains aren’t visible, choose Window > Keychain Access. • Select a keychain in the Keychains list. • Choose File > Delete Keychain [keychain name]. • Click Delete References.
