IMAP connection issues

I'm experiencing many failed attempts to check my Outlook mailbox from mobile device in last weeks, getting the error NO AUTHENTICATE failed. I have manually rechecked the server setup in my client and the configuration passed the connection test, but on regular basis majority of mailbox checks return with error.

    Did it work up until midweek? If so, its a bug -

    I'm using 2FA as Google auth, The settings are still same

    server address is outlook.office365.com:993

    Connection protocol TLS

    Login <my email>

    Password is generated application password from account administration.

    I'm afraid my mobile app doesn't offer Outlook and Exchange.

    Do you use 2-step verification on your outlook.com?

    What are you server names and port numbers?

    For what it's worth, you should have the account added to the mobile apps as Outlook.com or Exchange accounts, not IMAP.
