My email and Facebook was hacked, I got my Facebook back and changed passwords to my emails but I no longer want to use that email anymore. I have updated the contact information in Facebook to have my new email, my old email does not show there anymore but I can still log in using the old email. I do not want that email linked to my account at all anymore? How do I completely get rid of it? I need someone from Facebook to help me but wondered if anyone here has had experience on what to do or how to get in contact?!

Thanks for reply! I changed password on email but haven’t deleted it permanently yet as I’m transitioning into a new email I made, will permanently delete once I am set up with everything else.

And yes it’s very weird why Facebook is still allowing me to log in with the old email, I can’t find a way to contact them directly. I saw an email I could send something to so did that, and reported something another way but still no easy way to easily connect with them. If you know how to exactly get in touch with them please let me know

Hello Maria_143! I'm Gunasekar and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

Here in the community, we do not have access to your Microsoft account.

Did you close your e-mail permanently?

It appears that Facebook is still using your old login credentials. However, if you have updated your information, your login credentials should have been changed. If your old credentials are still being used to login to Facebook,

I recommend reaching out to Facebook's support directly. You can typically find support options in the Help Center within Facebook settings.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N
