How do I export my Outlook calendar in the New Outlook?

My organization has asked us to switch to the New Outlook (March 2024). My current business operations process includes exporting a shared calendar once per week into a CSV file. On the old Outlook, this was accomplished by going to File > Open & Export > Import/Export > Export to File > CSV > then following the prompts to download the file. In the New Outlook, File is not an option on the calendar and I can't figure out how to export the calendar to Excel/CSV.

I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the removal of base functions and having them replaced with flashy features with no daily purpose but to have functions using 'new' technology. Whilst some people may like these trendy functions, many business users do not and rely on the core functionality when integrating into their other platforms. Something Microsot used to do well. How about letting users choose the flashy bits as 'Add-Ons' and stop playing with core functionality. Pleaaassseee.

This problem is maddening!!! No toggle for Classic!!... Preference as stated to type in 0 wasn't there!! I need to produce calendar from 2019, all now part of new Outlook, completely gone from old Outlook and I can't get it back. Nothing above worked. Why couldn't they have left things alone.... my calendar was fine before I unfortunately upgraded to the new.

Why can't Microsoft make this an easy transfer of information from one software program to another??? All I would have to do is import from a file in CSV. or TXT.

Please understand that the .PST file support that is highlighted is not the same as exporting a calendar to a .csv file. The .PST is the archive file.

I don't see anything on the list above that relates to exporting a calendar to a .csv or Excel format. (I was looking for this too)

While switching to the older version of outlook would work, it will also cause a loss of functionality specific to the New Outlook that is good. (like showing declined meetings)

By all of the non-answers and people that have the same problem, I think there is a solution.....

Google. Dump Office/Outlook, dump MS, and just change platforms. It's not like there's much advantage to staying....

When will this feature be available? Or is there another way to extract data from the calendar? I’ve been given the task of going back to April to create a report of visits. Rather than doing this manually it would make sense to export to excel to filter. Without this feature it’s making processes harder to complete my job. Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Thank you
