Auto Response "Something Went Wrong"

When I go to setup an automatic response in the settings it just says "Something went wrong". No option to toggle auto response on, nothing. I have tried Chrome and Safari. Even tried setting up a rule and nada. Please help!

    NOT WORKING!!!!

    HOW CAN THIS SIMPLE PROBLEM NOT BE SOLVED FOR SUCH A LONG TIME?????

    Can only be done with an exchange email account, otherwise it requires rules
