Using older versions of Outlook for Mac in business environments

I understand that you're having trouble logging in to Outlook on your Mac. Can you please let me know the error message that you are getting when trying to login?
Also, what is the type of account you are using? Is it an M365 work/school account or a Microsoft/Personal account like Hotmail/outlook.com?
In the meantime, please check whether you can successfully log into outlook on the web via https://outlook.office.com/
