Microsoft has discontinued the ability to add other email accounts to Outlook.com. This change was made to improve security and reduce the risk of hacking and phishing attacks.
However, you can still add other email accounts to the Outlook desktop app or mobile app. To do this, follow these steps:
- Open the Outlook app and go to File > Add Account.
- Enter the email address and password of the account you want to add.
- Select the type of account (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, etc.).
- Follow the prompts to complete the setup process.
Alternatively, you can also use the "Connected accounts" feature in Outlook.com to link your other email accounts. This will allow you to view and manage your email from multiple accounts in one place. To do this, go to Settings > View all Outlook settings > Mail > Connected accounts.
