"cannot be saved because it was changed by another user or in another window"

Question

Is there any progress on this message for IMAP users and downloading images? It was mentioned that Microsoft was actively working on it in 2020. Users on that thread noted that the issue has been existent since Office 2010.

Is this ever going to be addressed? Can we trust what Microsoft tells us in response to feedback tickets at all?

• 2012-08-24: This item cannot be saved because it was changed by another user or in another window. Do you want to make a copy in the default folder for this item?
