Currently using 'New Outlook' and my iCloud calendars won't sync.

I know this has been an issue - wondering if it has been resolved and how?

Good morning Brian,

I figured it out.

So you are right. With the new Outlook - you have to add the iCloud account. It's bit tricky though.

Mail -> View -> View Settings -> Accounts -> Add Account -> Use your iCloud account email, not your iCloud login email -> create app password in apple id portal -> input app password in outlook -> then it will connect.

I use Gmail for my apple id and it kept wanting to add my Gmail account. You have to use the iCloud email given to you by apple to make this work.

Instructions here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/add-or-manage-an-icloud-email-account-in-outlook-4aed8b3d-3c68-4743-8973-f6bd1c56e040?OCID=NewOutlook_iCloud_AppPassword

Thanks again!

Unless your iCloud account is in the new Outlook app, it can't access your iCloud data at all. Unless you added the account, why would you expect see iCloud data there?

    Hey Brian,

    Thanks for assisting!

I looked in the accounts tab and only my work email is there and is set to primary.

Should my icloud account be there as well?

HI. I'm Brian and I'll try to help

Do you have more than one account configured in the new Outlook? If so, click View>View Settings>Accounts>Email Accounts and then Manage next to the account and make it the primary account. Also, keep in mind that synching may not be immediate. Some reports say it can take 20 minutes for synching to complete.
