Co-pilot and Microsoft Loop

Hi

I have a 365 subscription and i also have a co-pilot Pro subscription. Copilot is integrated with my office apps. I have 2 issues:

  1. Loop - Co-pilot seems to be missing in my Loop app - the "/" doesn't bring up the copilot prompts that I have seen on multiple posts online. I am signed in with the same account as the subscriptions mentioned. FYI - my loop app says "Preview" on the top left with the logo and my region is India. This is the more urgent issue as I use Loop a lot.
  2. Outlook - I have the Outlook app - however I have another personal email in there (not the one that has my 365 and copilot pro subscription) - is there some way to enable co-pilot Pro on this - mainly because my primary account with the subscriptions is a Gmail ID- the email I use on outlook is an "outlook.com" ID - is there some way to still get copilot pro? For all my other apps it works as my license is my primary account. (I don't want to pull my Gmail mail into Outlook) - I hope this is clear as its a complicated issue.

Request some help on this.

    Hello Dheer,

I'm Ibhadighi and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

Here are simplified solutions for your issues with Microsoft Loop and Co-pilot Pro integration, as well as using Co-pilot Pro with a different email account in Outlook:

    1. Co-pilot Missing in Loop "Preview" Version:
      • The "Preview" label indicates you're using an early version of Loop. Co-pilot integration might not be fully available in this version, especially if the app is region-specific and updates are rolled out gradually.
      • First, ensure your Loop app and Co-pilot Pro are updated to the latest version.
      • If Co-pilot features are still missing, it's possible that they haven't been rolled out to the Preview version in your region (India). You might need to wait for a further update.
    2. Using Co-pilot Pro with Different Email Accounts in Outlook:
      • Co-pilot Pro is typically linked to the account with which you have your 365 subscription. To use Co-pilot Pro features in Outlook with a different email address (your outlook.com ID), you need to add your subscription account (Gmail ID) to Outlook.
      • However, if you prefer not to mix your Gmail and Outlook emails in the same app, one workaround is to add your Gmail ID to Outlook but configure it not to sync emails. This way, your Co-pilot Pro features may still be enabled in Outlook without pulling in your Gmail emails.
      • To do this, add your Gmail ID to Outlook but choose manual settings during setup and deselect the option to sync emails.

For both issues, keep in mind that feature availability can vary based on app version, subscription type, and region.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards, Ibhadighi
