Automatic reply from a shared mailbox to external senders only

Question

Hi all,

We would like to send automatic reply from a shared mailbox to external users only. I have searched it but Microsoft says every time that just enable automatic reply, set up reply for outside your organization and there will be. Yes, but in this case inside our organization will also get a reply.

I found a community post from the past:

This can be useful but it has a risk that an important email has the same words in the subject and it will be gone without any notification. The article is quite old. Is there any option to set up automatic reply only to external senders? I am a global admin in M365.
