Managing meetings and events using Outlook on the web for business
I concur 100% 365 is garbage.

We used google to start our company some years ago, the issues was mostly that you cant share boxes. Other than documents there is not much collaboration in the app.
Year two we moved to zoho as they offered tabs in email box that are absolutely amazing, shared boxes, ability to add email to calendar or tasks. But it was a bit lacking in the ability from an admin point of view to set up a profile so that all users have the same setup. Same issue as google you need 10 apps to do simple thing and none seem to talk to each other.
Time to move on and looked at a few others like Odoo (No email client) and Onlyoffice (no chat app) as well as LarkSuites. If Lark was not owned by the makes of Ticktok we would have went that way, one amazing app that does it all from one screen.
Long story short we decided to migrate to MS 365 because from all the screenshots we noticed that you can share email in teams, comment on shared email box emails and create small apps in teams. (big mistake)
We spend two weeks migrating all the users and trying to set up the system.
But wait. With the regular subscription you can no longer use desktop apps. So all the features we came here to have are now gone. (Jan 2024)
The outlook for web has no teams integration or notes for that matter.
There are no tab emails so good luck each time you need to go back and forth between emails.
There seems to be literally zero collaboration between any of these apps.
But you can now add email add-ins but none are from Microsoft. They are all third party.
Even if the outlook for web would work the ios app does not have any of these, it is not like you can add on the web and it will show in the app. O no that is totally a separate systems. (Zoho and Lark both can do this out of the box in a few clicks)
Not only that but you also cant set a profile to have all the employees set up the same unless you buy the most expensive enterprise plan.
In the end we will spend another month migrating everyone out of this ****, because at the moment we are spending more time fighting the system than actually it does to reduce our work time. I should have known this, as the last three companies we worked with said the same exact thing.
This system 365 is meant to keep you locked and busy. It has no intention to allow you to actually optimize anything. I found users profiles in 6 different places.
Here is an example. You need your users to reset a password you can do it in Azure, Exchange, Admin Users, One Note Admin. **** is going on here. If I need one small thing to be done I need to go through 10 screens and use 10 others from the community to figure it out. Good luck trying to figure out how to disable mandatory 2outh. It is in the Azure admin panel not in the Admin Users settings. That would be to easy to have all the user settings in the same place.
The answer seems to be that you need to bring in an IT professional at 140k per year that went through MS courses that you have to pay for in order to do literally everything that all the other systems do it out of the box from one admin panel.
Don`t get me started on the 365 Dynamics. It takes an engineer 2 hours to close on ticket. No joke and it always ends up with an error. 29 pages and steps. We had to go back to our old system that can do it all in one page.
Yes we got dupped into this **** but there is no way in hell I will stick with it. Most companies are to ashamed to admit it and this is how MS makes money.
