Outlook Client (Version 2302)

Hi everyone,

first of all happy new year!

Is there a new limit when looking at the "All Users" address list? Only about 450 contacts are displayed. We can search and find all users, but we need the entire list to copy into the own contacts.

Can this limit be switched off somewhere?

In Outlook the option "Improve search speed..." is switched off

Best regards

Vito

    Hello,

now we have the answer from the Microsoft support.

So this is something new and they won't change it

I consulted our level 2 to check if there is any incident about the issue and i can confirm that it's a new behavior to just show 500, and they will push through this change. you should search instead of scrolling.

please find bellow the Public Documentation and MC Post.

    Hello Simbarashe,

    thank you for your reply.

The thing is, that we used the "All Users" address list in the past (till last month) and were able to copy all contacts in one time.

So this limit is something new we are experiencing.

We found this article on another Problem we are currently experiencing (Folder Limit of 500)

Emails sent using Outlook Desktop results in Non-Delivery Report [0x80040305-0x00000000-0x00000000] - Microsoft Support

And it seems that the Limit in the Address List comes from this update, right?

If this Limit is now new, there will be no way to change or workaround it and see all Users again?

    Best regards

    VitoLL

    Hello VitoLL,

Good day! Thanks for your patience and understanding. We are happy to assist you.

Regarding your question, there is a default limit of 500 entries that can be displayed in the "All Users" address list in Outlook. This limit cannot be changed or turned off. However, you can try using the search function to find the contacts you need and then copy them into your contacts. Alternatively, you can try exporting the entire address list to a CSV file and then importing it into your contacts.

In the meantime, you can create an entry in the Feedback Portal Outlook · Community (microsoft.com), I have asked my team to vote, and you can share your vote and comments there as well. Our Product Development Team is committed to enhancing the customer experience by continually examining suggestions to include in the design and development of future product upgrades based on your suggestions. Hopefully, your suggestion will help many users in the future.

Thank you for your time and understanding. For other questions, feel free to add your post to the Microsoft Community.

    Sincerely,
