I just got a new email for work (not this one) that I am logged into on my work computer. I attempted to login on my personal computer. I have now been locked out of my account and am unable to login on any new devices due to too many unsuccessful login attempts. When I attempt to reset my password, the email and phone number used are not mine and must be someone in management/IT department of my company. I still have access to my email and use it while at work with no problems but would like to be able to access my email outside of work as well. Can someone please help me fix this problem.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the fact I have to "login" to write this question as I am locked out of my account and have to use a different email. Along with this, when I try to call customer service, I am NEVER able to speak to support staff and get no where from the automated recordings. There is no other contact information on the website for assistance. I would LOVE to speak to a real human and receive help as I have been dealing with the problem for two weeks now.

    Hello Halee Roberts,

Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to know that you're having trouble accessing your email account.

Since this is a work email account, I suggest that you contact your company's IT department or email administrator for assistance. They should be able to help you reset your password or unlock your account. They may also be able to provide you with the correct email and phone number to use for password reset.

If you're unable to reach your company's IT department or email administrator, you can try contacting Microsoft support directly. You can visit Microsoft Support and select the "Contact us" option to speak with a support representative. They will be able to assist you further with your issue.

Please note that this forum is a public support platform, it is not appropriate or permitted for members to collect account information from customers here, we suggest that you continue to try contact the Microsoft protection group Global Customer Service phone numbers Global Customer Service phone numbers - Support Find the number according to your Country/Region, and after calling, provide some necessary information to the agent, he will help you with the account/phone authentication problem and keep your account safe and secure.
