I had to try over and over to get my reset email

The ebay tech team tried to send reset emails to

They ebay had me fix my safe sender list

To get that I opened Outlook >

Under the menus at the top with a light bulb, What do you want to do... I typed safe sender list

I hovered over "do not click" the right arrow for Junk, and then clicked junk options

I changed Options to Low and then clicked on Safe Senders

Safe senders.>

Add...

******@ebay.com

Add...

******@ebay.com

also trust email from my contacts

automatically add people I email

apply

ok

I sent a test email to ******@ebay.com and ******@ebay.com

Why did it not work until I switched to Low???

What is it doing, because it does not go to junk on High...

Please explain.

Safe Sender and Low were the only thing to fix it.

I got lucky, because I fixed it one time before my last try.

Why did it not work until I switched to Low???

What is it doing, because it does not go to junk on High...and why do I not even receive the email?

Can I turn on High again now?

    Hello Mr. Jakes

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community

As per checking the shared information that you were having trouble receiving the email from eBay. Allow me to ask some questions for me to better understand your issue:

    • May I know who host your email address and what @domain?
    • May I know what version and edition of Office installed in your computer?
      • You can open any Office apps
      • Go to File > Accounts - on the right side you can see Product Information

It's possible that the emails from eBay were being filtered out by the Junk Email Filter in Outlook when it was set to High. By setting it to Low, you allowed emails from eBay to bypass the filter and be delivered to your inbox.

It's also possible that the emails were being blocked by your email provider's spam filter before they even reached your inbox.

You can try turning the Junk Email Filter back to High and see if you are still able to receive emails from eBay. You can also try to check the email from eBay if you can still receive it from your webmail server host of your email address.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Thank you,
