Deactivate outlook alias

Hi,

I have a couple of outlook aliasses I use, however one is receiving a lot of spam. I don't want to delete this alias, best would be just to split it into a separate account, but this is not possible. So I was looking for the option to deactivate this alias, so I won't receive any emails on this alias anymore, but if necessary I can activate this alias again, if there is still an important mail I have to receive on this alias.

Anybody any ideas?

    Such a shame.

Even when I set a rule to delete all emails send to this specific alias, I still receive emails in my spam folder.

    Hello Maurits123,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I am a Microsoft user just like you, I hope you are doing well.

Sorry for the inconvenience. However, there is no way to stop an alias from receiving emails, I am unaware of such a feature. You can look into Microsoft outllok.com Rules to send emails directly to a folder: https://support.microsoft.com/office/4b094371-a5d7-49bd-8b1b-4e4896a7cc5d
