Hi Erica,
Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconveniences,
I understand that you have been using Outlook synced with your Google calendar for over two years, but for some reason, your Outlook calendar is blank from February 2024 forward. Your Google calendar has appointments in February and beyond, but they are not showing up in your Outlook calendar.
There are some possible steps you can try to fix your Outlook and Google calendar sync issue:
- Check your sync settings. You may have changed or disabled some sync settings inadvertently or unknowingly. To check your sync settings, follow these steps:
- For Outlook, open the Outlook app on your device, then click on **File**, then click on **Account Settings**, then click on **Account Settings** again, then click on the **Internet Calendars** tab, then select your Google calendar, then click on **Change**, then make sure the **Update Limit** box is checked, then click on **OK**.
- For Google calendar, open the Google calendar web page on your browser, then click on the **Settings** icon in the upper right corner of the page, then click on **Settings**, then click on **Import & Export** in the left-hand menu, then make sure the **Automatically add events from Gmail to my calendar** box is checked, then click on **Save**.
- Force a manual sync. You may need to trigger a manual sync to refresh and update your calendars. To force a manual sync, follow these steps:
- For Outlook, open the Outlook app on your device, then click on **Send/Receive**, then click on **Send/Receive All Folders**. This will sync all your Outlook data, including your calendars.
- For Google calendar, open the Google calendar web page on your browser, then click on the **Refresh** icon in the upper left corner of the page. This will sync your Google calendar with your web browser.
- Clear your cache and cookies. You may need to clear your cache and cookies from your browser and your device to remove any corrupted or outdated data that may interfere with the sync. To clear your cache and cookies, follow these steps:
- For your browser, open your browser, then go to the **Settings** or **Options** menu, then find the **Privacy and Security** or **Clear Browsing Data** option, then select the **Cache** and **Cookies** options, then click on **Clear**. This will delete your temporary internet files and data.
- For your device, open the **Settings** or **Options** menu, then find the **Storage** or **Memory** option, then select the **Cached Data** or **Temporary Files** option, then click on **Clear**. This will delete your temporary device files and data.
Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance.
Regards, Sola
