Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Dear Vicky Arthur,
Good Day and Thanks for posting in Microsoft community.
A quick poll is a feature that allows you to create and send a simple survey to your recipients in Outlook. You can use it to get feedback, opinions, or decisions from your colleagues or friends.
However, a quick poll does not show the names or email addresses of the voters by default. It only shows the number and percentage of votes for each option. This is to protect the privacy and anonymity of the voters. If you want to see who voted for what, you need to do some extra steps.
One way to see who voted for what is to use Microsoft Forms. Microsoft Forms is an online tool that allows you to create and analyze surveys, quizzes, and polls. When you create a quick poll in Outlook, it automatically creates a corresponding form in Microsoft Forms. You can access this form and view the detailed results of your poll.
- Sign in to Microsoft Office with the same account that you used to create the quick poll.
- Find and open the Microsoft Forms app in the app launcher.
- Select the form that corresponds to your quick poll.
- Go to the Responses tab.
- Click View results.
Then you will see a table that shows the names or email addresses of the voters and their responses. You can also export the results to Excel for further analysis.
I hope this helps you find out who voted for what in your quick poll. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask me.
Thank you,
