Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Hello,
Thank you for coming to the forum. My name is Fuad.
I do not know if you know this, but here in this Microsoft answers community, you are dealing with users like you (and me), there is a limit to what we can do, but we will advise you.
Are you saying that you cannot access your account? If that is the case, then try and get back the phone number linked to the account or if you have set another way to verify your login, in the sign in, you should see (and click) an option in the sign on pop-up: I can’t use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now.
If none of the above is possible to help you get back, then I apologise for not being able to assist more than the above I have stated, but I do hope the above assist to help you gain back access to your account.
I understand just how frustrating this situation can be. I want you to know that I have been there, and I get how tough it is when something you rely on suddenly becomes inaccessible.
But, when you have set two-factor authentication, you will need to authenticate to be able to access your account, or else you will be locked out for good and Microsoft themselves may not be able to assist you.
Another thing others try is the Account Recovery Form: https://account.live.com/acsr, but it does not work when you have two-factor authentication, but I will not tell you not to try it too.
If it fails, then I am sorry I do not have more troubleshooting steps to offer, and since this is a user forum, if anyone else has another way to assist, they will inform us and shed more light on my lack of knowledge on this issue.
Best Regards Fuad
