Hello.
I have two different access points for Outlook, One is the desktop application, the other is a published desktop instance. They are on different builds. The desktop is on Version 2402 (Build 17328.20162) and the published version is on Version 2108 (Build 14332.20416) When i search in my desktop version for a currency entry in the body of an email, the email is pulled even if I do not had a comma for the number. $14,255.34 will find the email by entering 14255.34. On the published version, I must enter the Comma. is that a change between versions and the expected behaviour for version 2108 (Build 14332.20416) ?
Thank you
Bob

Hi Robert Poorman,
Good day.
Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. We are glad to assist.
Let’s delve into the differences between the two versions of Outlook you’re using.
Version 2402 (Build 17328.20162):
Version 2108 (Build 14332.20416):
In summary, the difference you’re experiencing between the two versions is indeed related to how they handle currency entries during searches. The desktop version is more lenient, while the published version requires precise formatting.
I hope this helps let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions.
Best Regards
