I have made a new outlook.com email account on my phone (not this email) so saved the password straight away. Then added it to my email app which i have yahoo, gmail & another outlook account on. I receive the emails through this app but when i try to log in through the browser i am unable to.

I have tried using the 'reset password' option but i keep getting the 'unfortunately we are unable to verify' email. I have also tried deleting the cache.

Please can you help.

    Hi,

I have tried to recover the account multiple times but I am still unable to log in. I am making sure i enter the exact same details every time as suggested when on the live chat option.

    Hi N Harkin

Thank you for getting back. My apologies for the late response.

If that's the case, I would recommend that you submit the account recovery form online. Collect as much information as you can about any Microsoft services you may have used with this account. The more information you can include when filling out the form, the better the chance you’ll have of regaining access to your account**.**https://account.live.com/acsr

    Hi,

I have tried the above mentioned options numerous times and always get the same response. The password was saved at the same time as setting up the email account so can not be wrong.

My account is now locked, I have even tried to get a code sent to the email address but this also has not worked. I have 2 different account that keep logging me out and not accepting the password. This is very frustrating as these email addresses are for a rugby club to which I need constant access to.

    Hello N Harkin,

Thank you for posting on the Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you're having trouble logging in to your Outlook.com email account through the browser. Based on the information you provided, it seems that you have successfully added your new Outlook.com email account to your email app on your phone, but you're unable to log in to the same account through the browser.

One possible cause of this issue could be that the password you saved on your phone is not the correct password for your Outlook.com email account. This could be why you're unable to reset your password through the "reset password" option.

To resolve this issue, I would recommend trying the following steps:

    1. Double-check that you're entering the correct email address and password when trying to log in through the browser.
    2. If you're still unable to log in, try resetting your password again, but this time, make sure you're using the correct email address associated with your Outlook.com account.
    3. Try accessing your account on different browsers or devices if possible to see if the problem persists.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Sincerely,

    ReynaldoB
