Missing Saved Emails

I have Microsoft 365 for home. Several folders I have created are now empty - the folders still exist but all the emails I saved to them have disappeared. Maybe close to 50 emails are gone from several folders. Other folders are still fully populated. I looked in deleted files and in archived - the missing emails are not there. I have searched through every folder I have created and all subfolders. I have checked my history for any unusual sign on activity to my account. UPDATE: I can find some of the missing emails if I search for them in "all folders" and microsoft shows them stored in the correct folders I created, but when I open the folder where microsoft says they are stored, they are not there. I can't remember ALL the missing emails so I can't search for them this way. I have tried closing outlook and reopening it; rebooting my computer; logging onto outlook with different servers - no luck. Weird - and frustrating as hell. Where are my emails????

This situation is just getting worse and worse. I now cannot save emails to any of my folders - not even the ones that still exist. So now my inbox and my sent box are overflowing and I have to print everything because I don't trust an email will be retrievable in the future. Tell me again why I pay $100 year for Microsoft 365? Because of excellent customer service? Because it is so reliable? PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!

    Dear Margaret Young3

I wish you all the best.

In the case of your issue, it is most likely caused by a recent ongoing server data migration.

Users from all over the world have reported similar issues and Microsoft has been working to resolve them. Some users have reported that the issue has been resolved after waiting a few hours to a few days.

We therefore recommend that you wait patiently for a while and we apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

    Have a nice day

    Best wish
