So here goes, please bear with me as I am very 'untechnical'. My husband and I both have virgin emails, I receive both his and my own to my PC for business purposes however several weeks ago a pop box keeps appearing it is headed Internet Email with the email address below it has server which is already completed with smtp.virginmedia.com, below that is Username which is already completed with the email address, followed by password which is also already completed, although I can change it, there is then a tick box save this password in your password list, then either ok or cancel. Consequently I can no longer send or receive his emails, then yesterday the same box started popping up for my own email, and now I can no longer send or receive my own emails, (sorry this is long winded) I have tried saving not saving, re-entering password, pressing ok or cancel and different times to no avail, this box pops up multiple times a day, whilst I'm using the PC not just in Outlook. I spent 1.45 hours on the phone yesterday to Virgin Media and then got disconnected :( Please can anyone help? Thanks

    Good Morning

I use a desk top, and my emails are accessed through Outlook. I can access them through he virgin media web page, but this does not allow me to add signature etc for the business. The server, username fields are pre completed and cannot be changed the password is also pre completed but can be changed. I have tried pressing ok unticking save box and cancel, but it is still happening. Thank you for your help. :)

    Dear Nikki Stouse,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your email. It sounds like the pop-up box you're seeing is asking for your email account credentials. This can happen if the password for your email account has been changed or if there is an issue with the email server settings.

    • May I please know how do you access your account? are you using desktop apps or web via browsers?
    • Could you please provide us with the screenshot of the error message you are getting?

I look forward to your response. Kindly note that the above requested information is required for further analysis and troubleshooting of your situation. Your patience and cooperation are much appreciated.

Thank you for your precious time. Have a nice day.

    Sincerely,
