Hi there TIMMY 6.I am Lumie and I would love to help you today.

The problem with spam has been growing recently. It looks like Microsoft is trying to do something about this. We'll have to wait and see.

I am very sorry to hear that you have been the victim of this spam.

    1. You can develop rules that automatically filter emails: [https://support.microsoft.com/office/75ab719a-2ce8-49a7-a214-6d62b67cbd41]. Please keep in mind that if the emails are not coming to your inbox then rules will not work.
    2. You can also access your spam filter options: "click Home > Delete group > Junk > Junk Email Options." And then increase the level. This will only work if you are accessing it from a personal computer. It cannot be done through mobile.

You can find this and other information here: [support.microsoft.com/office/e89c12d8-9d61-4320-8c57-d982c8d52f6b]

    1. You can also use the safe senders domain here: [https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/options/mail/junkEmail/safeSendersDomainsV2]
    2. Make sure to unsubscribe to any news letters or services.
    3. You may also want to use other 3rd party services, although this should not be necessary.
    4. The most effective way is to change your alias. This should be a last resort.

This can be very destructive and tedious, but it's your best bet.

By changing your alias, the leaked information is no longer relevant and you will no longer receive spam.

    "Go to Add an alias.

Sign in to your Microsoft account, if prompted. [https://account.live.com/AddAssocId]

Under Add an alias, do one of the following:

Create a new Outlook.com email address and add it as an alias.

Add an existing email address as an alias.

    Select Add alias."

This and more information can be found here: [https://support.microsoft.com/office/add-or-remove-an-email-alias-in-outlook-com-459b1989-356d-40fa-a689-8f285b13f1f2]

Next you should go to Manage How you Sign into Microsoft: [account.live.com/names/manage], choose your new alias as your primary and then delete your past Alias.

I would first and foremost recommend updating all of your services to use your new email address as this will not carry over.

It is important to keep in mind you will now refer to your account as this alias for future use. Keep both account names safely detailed down in case you need to go back to it for whatever reason.

You should now have to log in with your new email account from now on.

Here is more information about changing your alias if you want to see: [answers.microsoft.com/thread/4b0e3e30-4257-41cc-9fed-3fd4483fbcf2], Nicole Aljecera does a wonderful job explaining more information!

You can also find more information on how to stop spam here: [support.microsoft.com/office/a3ece97b-82f8-4a5e-9ac3-e92fa6427ae4]

    I hope this helps!

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. -Lumie
