    Dear Manasi D L,

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community. We will be happy to help you.

Based on your description, I understand that you are experiencing issues with the conditional access policy blocking a user from accessing a URL, even though they are part of an exemption group. I will do my best to assist you with this issue.

    To troubleshoot this issue,

    1. Have you verified that the user is indeed part of the exemption group? Go to the Azure Active Directory portal and checking the group membership of the user.
    2. Have you check the conditional access policy to ensure that the exemption group is correctly configured? Go to the Azure Active Directory portal and checking the policy settings.
    3. Have you verified that the AppId is correctly configured in the conditional access policy?
    4. Have you checked the logs in Azure Active Directory to see if there are any errors or warnings related to the conditional access policy.

If you have checked all of the above and are still experiencing issues, please provide me with the following information so that I can further investigate the issue:

    • The name of the exemption group.
    • The name of the AppId.
    • The name of the conditional access policy.
    • Any error messages or warnings that you have received.

We look forward to hearing from you; Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution. Thank you for your cooperation.
