iCloud for Windows. Option to sync Contacts and Calendar with Outlook is missing.

Question

Since updating to the newest version of Windows 11, Office 365 the options to sync Outlook and iCloud Contacts and Calendar are missing from iCloud for Windows.

Quite possibly. Google Drive for Desktop doesn’t support the ARM chip and they are quite open about it, and no plans to change.

Amazing & quite pathetic in this day & age that the 3 big players in tech can’t play nicely together on the absolute basics. Also makes you wonder about the monopoly of Intel…

I have the same problem. It's the only iCloud version available in the Microsoft Store and no version number is indicated. I have it up and running on my desktop PC and it works fine but the option to sync calendar and contacts is missing when I install it on my Surface Pro 11.

I have the same problem on a new Winodws 11 machine - the icloud for windows dialogues simply don't have the Calendars & Contacts option any more (not at setup or in run mode). Was there ever a solution found to this please?

I have two accounts. The iCloud account and exchange. I've tried switching between defaults as advised but the option to sync contacts is still not available.

Hi Diane,

I've reverted back to Outlook Classic.

Uninstalled the 'new' Outlook app entirely, then uninstalled iCloud restarted the computer, and then reinstalled iCloud.

Still, no option to sync contacts or calendars.
