We are seeing line after line of this error message and one for Dell. We had subscribed to the Dell and Lenovo 3rd party catalogs, but have since unsubscribed. How do we stop this from filling the log on the clients?

    Hi @Eric Welshons

The error means it is looking for something that's not there. The errors are ultimately benign (and thus ignorable although annoying).

Here is the similar post, please refer to it:

How do we stop this from filling the log on the clients?

Do we mean we just unsubscribe Dell and Lenovo 3rd party catalogs? We could configure the tab of Enable third party software update as NO in client settings, and cancel the tab of Enable third party software update in SUP component properties.

Here is the screenshot we could refer to:

This is still an issue. I had previously read through other posts indicating that these were benign. However, because we are using a monitoring tool, everytime SCCM tries to connect to those namespaces, the monitoring agent reports it as well. The systems get very slow for a time. We use Patch My PC as a third party update tool, so setting Enable third party software update to NO isn't feasible. What are my options?

No longer an issue. While the log still fills up with useless messages, we have tweaked the monitoring tool to ignore this.
