Hello

I am experiencing a printing issue since I've updated to the 1809 version of Windows 10.

My HP ENVY 4500 series printer is not reachable anymore on the network and it shows "incomplete configuration due to limited connection".

"HP Scan Doctor" diagnostic ask me to reinstall the Software and complete drivers.

So I've reinstalled the equipment, download and installed the latest firmware and driver. And the USB cable is OK.

Result: when trying to print, I can see the task but nothing happens and it terminate by an error.

Strangely in the printer 'Port' properties tab, I can see two USB001 ports which are:

USB0001 - virtual printer port for USB
USB0001 - TCP/IP standard port

Moreover the "Troubleshooting utility" reports a network connexion issue.

Cannot really see something into the "Windows logs reports" except that there is a 20001 ID event.

Any ideas please ?

I see the latest driver version of HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer was released on Nov 12,2015, three years ago.

1809 is the latest system, it seems that previous driver is not compatible with it. Try to update printer driver from Device Manager.

If still no use, in order to ensure daily work, roll back to 1803 and wait for printer driver update.

Of course, consult HP support is a feasible plan.
