Had the same issue, though i was able to login via o365 webmail. I was getting a need password in outlook but when trying to click on it got the 7ita9 error. Opened outlook went to File -> Account -> Sign Out. Once signed out, I re-signed in -> Re-registered and was back up and running. Hope this helps.

    Hello Denis Millette

Good day and thanks for posting in Microsoft community

The error message "Something went wrong. [7ita9]" along with the error code #3399811147 typically indicates a connectivity or configuration issue when attempting to log in to your Office 365 University email account using Outlook 365 Classical. The issue may arise from using an incorrect sign-in method for your university's Office 365 setup.

Please keep in mind there are several factors that might contribute to the issue and some universities might have specific configurations or restrictions on logging in, causing this error. To better assist you, we need more information on the issue to systematically diagnose and help you according.

    1. Does the issue persist in both Outlook app and Outlook web app (OWA)?
    2. Have you confirmed with your university’s IT department that your account is active and not locked or suspended?
    3. Are you able to access your email account on other devices or applications (mobile app)? If you are able to access your account from a standby PC,

we recommend you reconnect your work or school account, do online repair and run the following PowerShell command on your operating system.

Open PowerShell as an administrator and run the following commands to repair the Windows Account Manager (WAM)

    Add-AppxPackage -Register "$env:windir\SystemApps\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy\Appxmanifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode -ForceApplicationShutdown
    Add-AppxPackage -Register "$env:windir\SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.CloudExperienceHost_cw5n1h2txyewy\Appxmanifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode -ForceApplicationShutdown

Hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out if you need further assistance with the issue. We will be happy to help.

    Sincerely,

    Bertrand

    Hello,

I received the same error code. My university confirmed my account is not locked or suspended. I am still able to access my email and sync other office apps on my mobile phone. But I am unable to do so on my laptop. I've followed the directions above and continue to receive the error code
