I have Teradata database that sits on on-premise and data is on ADLS Gen2. I need to show that in

Tableau report that should dynamically show consolidated data in the dashboard. What is approach should I follow. Appreciate your help. Thanks

    Hi @Samy Abdul ,
Thanks for the ask and using the Microsoft Q&A platform .

You need to check list of data storage resources with which Tableau can connect and move your consolidated data to that resource.

Below link has list of connectors which can be supported by Tableau.
    https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/exampleconnections_overview.htm

Please check below link to know list of data storage resources supported by Azure data factory as target/sink.
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-factory/copy-activity-overview#supported-data-stores-and-formats

Kindly go through above two documentations and choose a target resource to place consolidated data and connect Tableau with it for your reporting. Thank you.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello @Samy Abdul ,

Just to add what @ShaikMaheer-MSFT suggested , if you are trying to connect to Teradata which is in-premise , you will have to Tableau Bridge . Please do read about the same here .
In your case the data is already in ADLS Gen2 , I suggest you to connect the Tableau to ADLS GEN2 and avoid the installing the bridge .

Please do let me know how it goes .
    Thanks
    Himanshu
