Try another verification method

I created a second email to manage my professional profile, and a few days later when I tried to log in, a window appeared warning me that my email was blocked, I should enter a number to unblock it, I did. And then I got the following error:

That verification method isn't working right now. Please try another method.

I go back and there are no more methods to try to unblock. What should I do in this case, or is there a waiting time to try again (maybe I tried a couple of times because I didn't get the code)

    Hi, Ronald Escalona

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I understand that your account has been locked, which has caused you trouble. I understand how you feel.

The community forum is a public forum. In order to protect users' personal information, we cannot contact you directly by email or ask users for privacy information directly.

First, understand the reason why your account is locked. As shown below:

If your email account is locked, you can try to get a security code to unlock your account. For specific steps, please refer to: Account has been locked - Microsoft Support

If you still receive the prompt "This verification method does not work at the moment. Please try another method." It is recommended that you try the following methods to see if you can receive the verification code.

    1. You can change the browser. (It is recommended that you use Edge's InPrivate mode. Visit account.microsoft.com and log in to your account.)
    2. You can change the device (such as a mobile phone, another computer). Try to log in to your account on another device.

If the above method does not work, you can contact Microsoft Online Support. Explain your situation and request further help. Please follow the steps below:

    1. Open the website: Contact - Microsoft Support
    2. Enter your issue to search, and then click Sign in to contact support at the bottom of the page.
    3. Sign in to another available Microsoft account. Be sure to sign in with your personal account.
    4. Under Products and Services, select Other Products.
    5. Under Categories, select Manage Account Security, and then click Confirm.
    6. Click Chat with a support agent in a web browser.

Note: Please contact support during business hours.

    All the best!

Thank you for your patience and support. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact us!

    Best regards
