one-time password technical profile not working when used with Display control for email for verification

Hi Team,

one-time password technical profile not working when used with Display control for email for verification

I am using Send Code and Verify Code (link) along with email verification display control - (Link). It says verification code is sent successfully to my email..but i never receive the code for verification

However, when i use aad-sspr technical profiles for sending and receiving code , it works fine..(link)

what is the problem ???

My basic intent is to obtain control over OTP length and expiration ..This seems to be only possible in one time tech profiles which are not working.. it is not possible in aad-sspr.. I want to solve this requirement.
